Outdoor NFC-Proximity Reader volo - White
Description
volo Proximity Reader
volo is a device that allows the user to manage the arming/disarming of the Ksenia Security System and more in general the activation/deactivation of different scenarios programmed in terms of Home Integration, by means of mini-Tags and/or NFC2-enabled smart-phones.
It is available i 2 colors: black and white. It can be installed either directly onto the wall (in vertical) or screwed onto the Box DIN 503.
The IP65 box and its completely epoxy-resined printed circuit board, make this device suitable for outdoor use. In case of DIN 503 Box mounting an optional black frame is available on request.
Why volo ?
- because it's a trigger of sober and elegant design fitted with a multicolor LED, IP 65
- because any mechanical parts are avoided, thanks to the use of an accelerometer, that could compromise the seal
- because it can also activate up to 5 different scenarios, very useful function in home automation environment
- because it can be also used as seismic sensor
- because it can be wall mounted or appliable onto DIN 503 standard box
- because it integrates an RFID / NFC Technology (* see note beneath) reader, so you can trigger armings and scenarios via NFC-enabled smart-phones as well as min-tag
- because its multicolor LED display the state ot your system, too
- because thanks to the appropriately designed gem the vision of light even in bright sunlight is guaranteed
- because it is nice, simply...
(*) Near Field Communication (NFC) is a technology to provide wireless (RF) bidirectional short-range connectivity (up to 10 cm.). It was developed by Philips and Sony.NFC technology is an evolution of a combination contactless identification, also called RFID (Radio Frequency Identification – IDentificazione a Radio Frequenza), and other technologies. NFC, respect to the more simple RFID devices, allows a bidirectional comunication: when two NFC machines (the Initiator and the Target) are approched one to the other in a 4 cm. range, a small peer-to-peer network is created and both of them can send and receive information. NFC technology operates at 13,56 MHz and can reach a transfer rate of 424 Kbit/s.
