Ivory Egg Launch Online KNX Training Platform for Electricians and Integrators

Something we've been working on is finally here... It's our new online, on-demand learning platform! Designed for individual integrators, integration businesses, and electricians, this training platform provides access to KNX training resources anywhere and at any time.
We’ve helped the NZ KNX market to grow significantly over the past 10 years by providing a substantial amount of 1:1 support to integrators. For KNX to become mainstream we need more industry professionals to undertake KNX training and become competent integrators. Our new training platform takes that 1:1 support we have provided and makes it scalable and available to anyone wanting to learn KNX. 

What courses are available? 

Built with decades of real-world experience, there are 3 courses available; KNX Sales, KNX Design & Specification, and KNX Design & Specification – HVAC. For those who want a taster of what to expect from an Ivory Egg Training course, the KNX System Design module is free to access.

When starting out with KNX there is a lot to learn so we have developed this platform allowing learners to take onboard the information at a pace and in a location that suits them and their business.” 

What can you learn on the new KNX training platform?

With the release of the Ivory Egg training platform, it is now possible to learn how to design and specify a KNX installation, including the underlying system architecture and the extensive range of products and functionality that is possible. The free KNX System Design module is a great introduction to KNX, whereas the KNX Design & Specification courses are a great companion for an integrator to build their knowledge of the KNX ecosystem. 
Integrators or engineers responsible for programming can then attend the KNX Basic Certification course, which has more of a focus on commissioning systems and is required to be a KNX Partner.  
The Ivory Egg Training platform also contains a KNX Sales course to help integrators or sales teams to confidently sell KNX to clients. Learning tried and tested sales techniques improves conversion rates, with more quotes turning into completed projects. We have also recently launched an HVAC course.

How to get started

The Ivory Egg Training platform is now live at training.ivoryegg.co.uk. To enroll in a course, online registration on the platform is required, and course vouchers can be purchased here. Currently, anyone who registers on the platform can take the KNX System Design course for free! Registered users can then enjoy lifetime access to their course(s) and can access the training material wherever and whenever is convenient.
