Motion Sensor 360 Range

The Faradite Motion Sensor 360 Range is an extremely small & discreet range. The visible front of an installed sensor is just 49mm!

The Motion Sensor 360 range comprises of beautiful, flush mounted sensors. Each boasts an impressive detection area (request relevant product technical data for more information). The range is made up of the Motion Sensor 360 - Volt Free (Dry Contact) which is available in black and white, The Motion Sensor IP67 - Volt Free (Dry Contact) which is also available in black and white and the Motion Sensor 360 - 0-10v, only available in white.

Motion Sensor 360 - Volt Free (Dry Contact)

The Motion Sensor 360 - Volt Free (Dry Contact) provides a dry contact (potential free) output, which makes it supremely compatible with many major control systems. 

The Volt Free variety can be powered from 5V up to 35V, meaning systems that use 5V, 12V, 24V, 30V or 35V are all suitable for powering the Faradite Motion Sensor 360 - Volt Free (Dry Contact).

The Volt free sensor has a solid state relay meaning it is completely silent - no loud ‘click’ sound when the sensor detects motion. When mounted in a 3m high ceiling the sensor has approximately 8 metre diameter detection area at floor level.

The Motion Sensor 360 - Volt Free (Dry Contact) is available in white and black. The black sensor is designed for use in rooms with dark ceilings such as media rooms or cinema spaces. The black variety really is completely black! To achieve this, Faradite use a specialist black lens in the centre of the sensor to match the black housing.

Motion Sensor 360 - IP67 - Volt Free

The Motion Sensor 360 - IP67 - Volt Free follows many of the popular design principles of the range, but was designed to have an impressively high IP rating of IP67. 

This rating makes it extremely robust and means it can be used in a wide range of installation applications including marine installations.

A number of design changes were made to deliver the IP67 rating, including sealed cable entry grommets to ensure no water ingress was possible even from the back of the sensor.

The IP67 variety also features a sensitivity adjustment pot for fine tuning each installation. As with the non IP67 version, it is available in white and black.

Motion Sensor 360 (0-10V LUX)

The Motion Sensor 360 - (0-10V LUX) has both a motion sensor and an analogue brightness sensor. This variety is powered by 12V - 24V and provides 2 outputs.

The motion sensor has a digital output and the brightness sensor output has an analogue 0-10v output, which represents a 0 -1000 LUX range.
 
The 0-10V value output is dependent on the brightness value sensed and gives the option to configure brightness dependent lighting automation. For example, in the control system a minimum brightness threshold can be set, so when motion is sensed and the room brightness is lower than this threshold, the smart home system will bring on lighting.
 
The Motion Sensor 360 - (0-10V  LUX) follows the same form factor as the volt free variety with a transparent front window for the brightness sensor element.
 
The Motion Sensor 360 - (0-10V LUX) was designed primarily for Loxone / Crestron systems and Control4 systems when used with modules such as the Brainbox Analogue IO unit from Brainbox.
